Most colleges and universities in India offer a graduate student in oceanography or marine biology. Minimum educational qualification for this course is a bachelors degree in science that is to say, Bachelor of earth sciences/Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Fishery Science / Physics / Agriculture / Microbiology discipline of Applied Science or other equivalent. Can one may also pursue the Pasha in Oceanography and Marine Biology
it also offers M. Phil and doctoral degrees from some universities. May be entitled to any graduate student in the same section or any equivalent branch to continue the program
