As per the policy of the Government, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to be established in each district. Accordingly, 62 new JNVs have been sanctioned during 2016-17 in various districts of the country. In addition to this, 10 JNVs each have been sanctioned in districts having a large concentration of SC & ST population. Besides this, 3 JNVs have been sanctioned in 03 districts i.e. Senapati-II (Manipur), Ukhrul-II (Manipur) & Ratlam-II (Madhya Pradesh) as special case, bringing the total number of JNVs sanctioned to 661.
Each Vidyalaya has provision for a full-fledged campus with sufficient building for classrooms, dormitories, staff-quarters, dining-hall and other infrastructural facilities viz. play-grounds, workshops, library and labs etc.
The opening of new Navodaya Vidyalayas is based on the offer from the State Government to provide around 30 acres of suitable land (relaxable on case to case basis) free of cost, alongwith sufficient temporary accommodation to run the school till the completion of permanent Vidyalaya building.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Result 2020:
The JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 Admission and Class 9 Lateral Entry Exams are scheduled for February 13th , And April 10th 2021, respectively. The JNVST Class 6 result will be published in June 2021, while it will be published in April 2021 for Class 9. The merit list will also be published for each field, together with Navodaya Result (scorecard).
Navodaya Vidyalaya 2021 District Result:
The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Samiti has also completed successfully the lateral entry selection tests for seats left of Class 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th Class admission selection exams, a large number of students are enrolled in the lateral entry exam, and the students are waiting to check the JNV Result 2021 District Selected list along with awaiting student details listed.
Regional Offices of NVS:
The eight Regional Offices of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti are at Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Pune & Shillong with jurisdiction over different States and UTs. JNVST Selection List 2021 Important Points:
The student should remember these important instructions while applying for the JNVST 2020:
- The student should apply for the Navodaya School in the same district of their residence.
- A student who is enrolled to JNV in the Hindi-speaking area must study in a non-Hindi-speaking state for one year before being admitted to class 9. NVS will cancel its admission and withdraw the seat if a student refuses to undergo this.
- After an authority has displayed a selection list, an applicant from the reservation group must check the documents.
- Divyang category has to show their medical certificate on the allotted date.
- Candidates in the transgender group are required to study in the district from which they have regularly completed class 5.
JNVST Exam Pattern 2021:
The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

Navodaya Result Released Date Announced:
According to the Official Detailed Notice, the lists of candidates selected from the 6th class in school are likely to be released on the 1st week of June and the results will be announced after completion of the written exams, but no official and precise dates and times will be announced.
The NVS officials are now starting the assessment process at regional offices using teaching personnel from the educational board, answering sheet corrections and valuing the marks process for phase-1 is finished, it is a very challenging process and the country's highly talented hunting tests.
At their regional offices, the NVS officials have completed the Answer Sheet corrections and prepared the Navodaya District wise Selected Candidate List 2021 from eligible candidates from rural and urban area schools, the process will take extreme effort, since the NVS officials need to evaluate more than 31.10 lacks response sheets for all districts of the country, now it is also complete.
