IIFT 2024 - Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Exam:
National Testing Agency(NTA) held the entrance exam for admission to the MBA(IB) course of the Indian Institute of foreign Trade (IIFT) for the year 2023-25, in CBT mode, at 163 exam centres located in 63 cities across India. Students with a graduate degree can write this examination to pursue Master of Business.The MBA course is delivered through IIFT New Delhi and IIFT Kolkata Campus.
IIFT MBA Entrance Exam is a rigorous and competitive test designed to assess candidates on various parameters including quantitative ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and general knowledge. The exam is known for its unique structure, featuring a four-section paper with varying marking schemes for each section. Eligibility Criteria IIFT MBA IB Admission Test
Nationality: Both Indians and Foreign National students are eligible for IIFT
Age Limit: No age limit has been set by IIFT for MBA-IB entrance exam.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should atleast have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university scoring a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have been residing outside India for at least 18 months as on December.
- Candidates must possess valid passport/ travel document from a country other than India.
- Candidates must have a valid Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score.

Registration Fees
Candidates can pay the application fee either in online mode using Debit/ Credit Card/ Net banking or in offline mode through a Demand Draft drawn in favor of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE payable at New Delhi:
- IIFT Application Fee For General Category- INR 1550/-
- IIFT Application Fee For Reserved Category- INR 775/-
- IIFT Application Fee For Foreign Nationals- INR 4,500/US$ 80
IIFT Reservation Policy
- Other Backward Classes (OBCs): 27%
- Scheduled Castes (SCs): 15%
- Scheduled Tribes (STs): 7.5%
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs): 4%
IIFT Exam Pattern 2024
The IIFT entrance exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency as computer based test. IIFT entrance test will comprise of multiple choice objective type questions (MCQs). It is divided into 6 sections comprising questions on Verbal Ability; English Reading Comprehension; General Knowledge & Awareness; Logical Reasoning; Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.
- IIFT exam timing changed to 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, earlier it was 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- The reserved category IIFT form fee has been increased to Rs 1250.
- The number of questions will vary across the sections.
- Also, the marking scheme will vary. VARC, Quant, and DILR sections will have the same marking policy while GK will have a different scoring pattern.
- As per the latest IIFT test pattern, the paper in the IIFT MBA exam will have four sections.
