"Osmania University Common Entrance Test 2018 (OUCET 2018)". This examination known as OU CET 2018 2018 is conducted by Osmania University.


Online Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed or appearing for the final year examination in the qualifying degree / Intermediate for entrance tests and admission into various P.G. Courses, P.G. Diploma Courses and 5 yr. Integrated Programmes offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru and Potti Sreeramulu Telugu Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2018-2019.First time Osmania University going to conduct the OU CET 2018 exam in online through Computer Based Test (CBT). OU CET Eligibility Criteria:

1. All the courses are of two years duration
2. Candidates should have passed B.Sc., B.A (or) equivalent exam will not less than 40% in the aggregate (part-2) (For SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient)
3. Candidates passing the Bachelors degree exam compartmentally are also eligible provided they secured not less than 40% aggregate marks and a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient for SC/ST
4. Candidates who have already passed their qualifying Degree Exam are also eligible provided they secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate (part-2 eligibility) (or) who have appeared for the final exam are also eligible

Age Limit


5. There is NO age restriction for appearing for OUCET-2018; the maximum eligible age for obtaining Fee/Scholarship reimbursement is as per the Govt. of Telangana State rules

Things to remember before applying OU CET 2018:

1. Candidates who have completed degree with single subject in open/distance mode of education are not eligible PG Courses
2. The reimbursement of fee/Scholarship is not allowed for the candidate who per use 2nd PG Program
3. PG & PG Diploma courses offered by Osmania, Telangana, Palumuru , MG University's and eligibility conditions available website www.osmania.ac.in and in this article
4. Candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible for the course /subject they are applying for

OUCET 2018 Exam Pattern

1. The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration. Osmania University conducting OU CET 2018 through online mode only.
2. The entrance tests in all the subjects, except that of M.P.Ed., will consist of 100 multiple choice objective questions for 100 marks
3. For M.P.Ed. Course, the entrance test will be of 75 multiple choice objective questions for 75 marks. The remaining 25 marks will be awarded by the Dept. of Physical Education, Osmania University for the Sports achievements of the candidates
4. The entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of entrance test

For 5 Yrs Integrated PG Program, the entrance test patterns are as follows:

5. MBA - The paper has two Parts - A & B. Part-A: Section-A (Verbal Ability) containing 1 to 25 and Section-B (General Knowledge) containing 26 to 40. Part-B: Section-C (Numerical Data Analysis) containing 41 to 70 and Section-D (Reasoning and Intelligence) containing 71 to 100 multiple choice questions with four alternatives A, B, C & D
6. M.A. Applied Economics - The paper has five Parts - A, B, C, D & E. Part-A (Mathematics) containing 1 to 40, Part-B (General English) containing 41 to 55, Part-C (General Knowledge) containing 56 to 70, Part-D (Current Affairs) containing 71 to 85 and Part-E (General Economics) containing 86 to 100 multiple choice questions with four alternatives A, B, C & D
7. M.Sc. in Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Chemistry - The paper has four sections - A, B, C & D. Section- A Chemistry containing 1 to 34, Section-B Physics containing 35 to 67, Section-C Mathematics containing 68 to 100 multiple choice questions with four alternatives A, B, C & D. Sections A & B are common for both M.P.C & B.P.C students. Section-C Mathematics is for M.P.C students and Section-D Biology is for B.P.C students

How to Fill OU CET Online Application 2018:

The aspirants who want to apply for the admission will be eagerly waiting for the releasing of the application form. Osmania University will open the link for OUCET 2018 few days after releasing the notification. The aspirants applying for the admission need to pay the application fee first then apply for the admission.

The online applications will start from 21st April to 19th May.

• The aspirants need to open the Online Submission link in official page or we will redirect to the page once the link is active.
• Click on OU CET 2018 Notification link.
• Aspirants need to fill the application form.
• Then attach the educational documents, fee receipt etc with the application form.
• Click on submit button.
• The applying process for admission is completed
• Then students need to take print out of the application form for references.
