Andhra Pradesh Ed.CET Results 2018:

AP EdCET 2018, known as AP Education Common Entrance Test-2018 (AP EdCET 2018) is conducted on 19th April 2018 by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2018-2019.

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi going to release the result of AP EdCET 2018 on May 3rd, 2018. Candidates can download AP EdCET 2018 result along with the rank card in online mode in official website and Manabadi.co.in. With the declaration of the result, candidates who meet the minimum qualification marks criteria will be then shortlisted on the basis of merit list.
EdCET-2018 is the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test for admission into B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. These tests are being conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
The candidates, who were applied for this entrance test, they were attended the entrance exam 19-04-2018 and they are waiting for their results for join into law courses. The results of AP EdCET will be uploaded at web portal by the Department SVU.
AP EdCET exams 2018 Results to be declared on 3rd May at http://sche.ap.gov.in/EDCET. Candidates who have appeared for the exam on April 19, 2018 can check the results from the official website and Manabadi.co.in website.
The EdCET 2018 exam was conducted to select students for admission in 2 year B.Ed course in various recognized institutions in the state. Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh conducted the paper on behalf of the APSCHE.

QUALIFYING MARKS:

The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of total marks (i.e. 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences / Mathematics methodologies.

AP EdCET 2018 Results:

RANKING: Candidates will be ranked in each methodology in the order of merit on the basis of marks obtained in APEd.CET -2018 examination. Where there is a tie in total marks, Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of further tie, the marks obtained in Part-A will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, they shall be bracketed for the purpose of award of rank. At the time of admission into the course, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given priority. The rank obtained in AP Ed.CET-2018 is valid for entry into B.Ed. course for the academic year 2018-2019 only.

RULES OF RESERVATION FOR ADMISSION:

  1. Local Area-Wise Reservations:
  2. (i) Admission to 85% of the seats in each methodology shall be reserved for the local candidates and 15% of the seats shall be left unreserved as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order 1974 as amended in G.O.P.No.646 Education (W) Department, dated: 10th July, 1979.
    (ii) The part of the State comprising the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam shall be regarded as the Andhra University-Local Area.
    (iii) The part of the State comprising the districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Kadapa and Nellore shall be regarded as the Sri Venkateswara University-Local Area.
    (iv) All the districts of Telangana shall be regarded as the Osmania University-local area
    (v) In respect of State-wide Institutions, i.e., Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam, Tirupati, Dravidian University, Kuppam admission to 85% of seats, in each methodology shall be reserved for the candidates belonging to the three local areas mentioned above and the balance of 15% of seats shall be left for the open competition.
  3. The Local Candidate:
  4. (A) A candidate for admission shall be regarded as a local candidate in relation to local area
    (B) A candidate for admission to the course who is not regarded as local candidate under clause (A) in relation to any local area shall be as local candidate
    (C) The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply for admission to the remaining 15% of unreserved seats
    (D) If a local candidate in respect of local area is not available to fill any seat reserved or allocated in favour of a local candidate in respect of that local area, such seat shall be filled in as if it has been un-reserved.

How to check the results:

  1. Login to Manabadi.co.in we will redirect to results page
  2. Browse for "AP EDCET Results 2018" Link.
  3. Enter your Hall ticket number.
  4. Click on Submit.
  5. Your AP Edcet results are displayed.
  6. Save your result for future use.
AP EdCET Counseling 2018 will be conducted after the declaration of AP EdCET Result 2018. Candidates having AP EdCET 2018 Ranks will be required to be present for Counseling with all the required certificates. The schedule of AP EdCET Counseling 2018 will also be updated soon.

AP-EdCET Counseling Procedure for Web Counseling:

The Candidates who have not paid the processing fee or not attended for Certificate verification during the first phase should get their certificates verified on given schedule from any one of the three Help Line Center by paying the processing fee through payment gateway in https://apedcet.nic.in and exercise options till the last date as per the Ranks.

Document Verification

  1. Candidates are informed to attend for certificate verification in any one of the following Helpline centers
  2. Verification of Certificates of the Candidates for PH/CAP/SPORTS/NCC categories will be done at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
  3. Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports Candidates
  4. PH-Certificate issued by District Medical Board-Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.
  5. CAP - Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer (In case of Ex-Service men) Identity card and Discharge book for verification.
Candidates whose parents are domicile of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible to be considered under "CAP" Category. NCC & Sports- To produce Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.The decision of the verifying authority is final in respect of above special reservation categories with regards to priorities fixed.

AP-Ed.CET Counseling Procedure to Exercise Web Option

  1. Open the website http://apedcet.apsche.ac.in. Homepage displayed as follows.
  2. Click on the Web Options link for Exercising options.
  3. Instructions to candidate window will be displayed as follows.
  4. Read the instructions carefully, then click I Understood button.
  5. Enter the details as shown in the option form and click on Submit button.
  6. Option form will be displayed as shown below with colleges on the left side. This window displays all the eligible colleges based on gender and specialization
  7. The Saved options can be viewed and/or print through the Print options link from home page also.
  8. The options exercised will be closed at 00.00 Hrs midnight on the last date specified for web options in the notification.
  9. The options will be processed on the dates specified and the results will be communicated through SMS message to the registered mobile number, which you have provided and you can also take a print of the provisional allotment order from the website

Important instructions to the candidates:

  1. Do not use mobiles and tablets to exercise the options. Use only computers.
  2. Check college codes thoroughly before entering options
  3. Write college codes in the order of preference on a white paper before entering into web.
  4. Do not select colleges which you are not interested.
  5. Allotments will be made in the order of preference of options and exercise utmost care while entering options
  6. Allotments will be made in the rank order
  7. Allotment made in the web counseling is final and cannot be altered under any circumstances.
  8. Therefore only such colleges and courses that candidate will join without any hesitation should be chosen
  9. The convener is not responsible for any technical or human errors from client side (Student side) while exercising options.
  10. Keep your mobile with you while exercising options and do not block SMS.
