AP Formative Assessment-4 (FA4) examinations for classes 1st to 9th, conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Educational Research and Training (APSCERT). These assessments play a crucial role in evaluating students' understanding and grasp of the subjects they have been studying throughout the academic session. The assessments are designed to provide valuable feedback to both students and teachers, aiding in the continuous improvement of the teaching-learning process.
AP SCERT Also Conducts Research Studies and Surveys to identify the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Education System in Andhra Pradesh. Based on the findings, it recommends necessary changes and reforms to improve the quality of education. APSCERT is also Responsible for conducting the State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) and National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMS) for the students of Andhra Pradesh. These examinations aim to identify and nurture talented students and provide them with financial assistance to continue their education.

AP Formative Assesment -4 Exam Pattern 2024:
Exam Duration: The exam duration for each subject is 2.5 hours, divided into two sessions.
Types of Questions: The exam will consist of both subjective and objective type questions.
Marking Scheme: The total marks for the exam will be 50, and the passing marks will be 35. The weightage of the exam will be 20% of the overall grade.
Syllabus Coverage: The exam will cover the entire syllabus prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (APBSE) for the respective classes.
Subject-wise Exam Pattern: The exam pattern for each subject is as follows:
