Max Verstappen of Red Bull won the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix after starting from pole position and led all 78 laps. Verstappen increased his lead in the Drivers` Championship to 39 points with his fourth victory of the year. Verstappen took advantage of the wet conditions by getting off to a strong start and pushing away from the competition. He never turned around and won easily. Esteban Ocon came in third, followed by Fernando Alonso in second. After colliding with Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc withdrew from the race.
