India has so far won 20 medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

• In Birmingham 2022, India won 20 medals, including Six Golds, 7Seven Silvers, and Seven Bronze medals.
• Mirabai Chanu got the gold medal in Weightlifting women`s 49 kg in Commonwealth Games 2022. Women`s Weightlifting got gold and a silver in 55kg by Bindyarani Devi. 
• Men`s Weightlifting brought 4 medals for India. Silver by Sanket Sargar in 55kg, Gold by Jeremy Lalrinnunga in 67 kg, and another Gold by Achinta Sheuli in 73 Kg.
• The Indian women`s Cricket team lost the 1st match with Australia, but the Indian women`s team beat Pakistan by 8 wickets in Commonwealth Games 2022. 
• India ranking seventh in the Commonwealth Games 2022 Medal Tally with twenty medals.

At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Murali Sreeshankar won silver in the long jump.

• Murali Sreeshankar won a silver in the men`s long jump and gave India its 2nd medal in athletics at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
• Murali soared to 8.08m in his 5th attempt to finish 2nd behind Laquan Nairn of Bahamas in a men`s long jump final.
• Nairn had the best jump of 8.08m, but his 2nd best of 7.98m was better than the 7.84m of Murali. South Africa`s Jovan van Vuuren (8.06m) took the bronze.

At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Sudhir won the gold medal in men`s heavyweight powerlifting.

• At the Commonwealth Games 2022, Sudhir won the gold medal in the men`s heavyweight para powerlifting event.
• The Asian Para Games bronze medallist Sudhir lifted 208kg in his 1st attempt and increased it to 212kg in his 2nd effort to get 134.5 points and break the Games record. Ikechukwu Christian Obichukwu got the silver with 133.6 points, and Micky Yule won the bronze with 130.9 points.
• Sudhir has an impairment because of the effects of polio and opened India`s para sports medal account in the ongoing CWG.
