WPI Inflation Rebounded
In August, the wholesale price inflation rate rebounded to 11.39%, maintaining double digits for the fifth consecutive month.
Highlights:
♦ Inflation in manufactured products: 11.4%
♦ Inflation in manufactured products: 26.1%
♦ Food price inflation: 3.43%
♦ LPG, diesel inflation and petrol: 48.1%, 50.7% and 61.5% respectively.
