DELL partners will UNESCO to adopt technology in classrooms:
Dell Technologies has signed an agreement with UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace (MGIEP) to enable school teachers to adopt technology in classrooms by using Information Communication Technology (ICT) tools.
The ICT tools were developed by Dell Aarambh and FramerSpace platforms.
MoU provisions:
♦ Dell Aarambh aims to provide a springboard for teachers in information and communications technology. It will be spread over three phases, with the first in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
♦ FramerSpace which will help teachers with rich content creation abilities coupled with analytical insight to improve the quality of education will be provided by Dell Aarambh. FramerSpace is an artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital platform.
♦ The training aims on teaching the teachers the use of ICT and frontier technologies to achieve quality education. It is on line with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SGD 4) by the member-states of the United Nations.
