Valentine`s Day is Designated on 14 February:

Every year, Valentine`s Day is celebrated on February 14th. This day marks the anniversary of St. Valentine`s death. Both lovers in the world share their feelings in order to celebrate this day. People exchange presents, gifts, chocolates, flowers and share their emotions on Valentine`s Day.
 
Background:
Valentine`s Day commemorates the anniversary of the death of Saint Valentine, a Christian martyr. All over the world, Valentine`s Day is celebrated. People usually celebrate this day in Australia, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Mexico, South Korea, the United States and other places.
 
International Mother Language Day is on 21st February:
 
Since 2000, an International Mother Tongue Day has been held on February 21 every year to encourage the plurality of languages and cultures and the use of multiple languages.
 
Highlights:
♦ The idea of celebrating International Mother Tongue Day is an initiative of Bangladesh. It was accepted at the UNESCO General Conference in 1999 and has been observed all over the world since 2000.
♦ UNESCO celebrates "Language Without Borders" on Universal Mother Tongue Day 2020.
♦ The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 2008 as the International Year of Languages. 40 percent of the global population cannot access education in a language they speak or understand. 
♦ However, in multilingual education based on mother tongue, particularly in early education, people have gained more and more understanding of its value, and progress is currently being made.
♦ The Ministry of Human Resources and Development celebrates this day with educational institutions and language institutions because Matribhasha Diwas is in the region.
