Sanna Marin elected the youngest-ever as PM of Finland:
Sanna Marin has been elected as the Prime Minister of Finland. She became the world`s youngest Prime Minister ever. She also became the third female government leader of the country. She defeated Antti Lindtman to take over the government`s top post from incumbent Antti Rinne. The new government will be approving her appointment quickly.
Sanna Marin:
Marin was a lawmaker since 2015. She was the Social Democratic Party`s vice chairwoman. She served as the minister for transport and communications.

The US imposed new sanctions on Irans Mahan Air:
The United States imposed new sanctions on Iran`s biggest airline and its shipping network on 11 December 2019. US accused them of transporting lethal aid and weapons of mass destruction proliferation.
New sanctions:
The new sanctions were also imposed on Mahan Air and three of its general sales agents by the State Department and the U.S. Treasury Department. The sanctions on ESAIL and additional sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines will take effect in June 2020.
The tensions between the US and Iran escalated after US President Donald Trump withdrew from the 2015 Iran nuclear accord. The US blacklisted the Iranian shipping network as it allegedly involved in smuggling lethal aid from Iran to Yemen on behalf of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and its elite foreign paramilitary and espionage arm, the Quds Force.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson`s Conservative party won the UN`s General election with a majority vote. Indian-origin candidates in both the ruling Conservative and opposition Labour parties have registered equally strong results of seven wins on each side.
