India will host the 21st World Congress of Accountants.
The 21st World Congress of Accountants will be held in India, according to Debashis Mitra, the head of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) (WCOA).

- Physically, almost 6000 top accountants from 130 countries will take part in the program. After outbidding France, the event will occur from November 18 to 21.
- The event will take place at Mumbai`s Jio World Convention Centre. `Building Trust Enabling Sustainability` would be the topic for 2022.

- Algeria, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Guatemala, Mexico, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam are among the countries on the Watch List that require bilateral attention to address underlying intellectual property issues.
