The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) took place today, i.e. January 8 , at various centres across the country. "I had expected a better paper. English language and quantitative aptitude were very tough. Overall the exam was really difficult to solve." The exam consisted of quantitative ability, English language and logical reasoning, decision making, gk and essay. The duration of the exam was three hours and 30 minutes.

Looking at the previous year's paper, check out the analysis:

Section A was about verbal and logical ability

Section B focused on decision making and analytical reasoning

Section C tested a student on quantitative ability and data interpretation

The total time given to students for the Part 1 was 170 minutes, which is same as last year.

The answer key of XAT 2017 will be uploaded soon on the official website and the results for the same will be released in the month of February. XAT is an all-India entrance exam for an admission into the post graduate programmes in management courses of several management institutes across India. The XAT score is considered for admissions by more than 150 B-Schools across India.

XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2016: Last day to download admit cards 2-Jan-2016
Hyedrabad,Jan 2 New Delhi: December 31 (Thursday) is the last date to download the admit cards for the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2016. Candidates can download the admit cards The XAT 2016, which is scheduled to be conducted on January 03, 2016 would remain pen-paper based. The examination will be held across 47 cities of India: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam. The XAT 2016 would also be conducted across the following two international cities Dubaia nd Kathmandu.
Information regarding XAT 2015 exam Booklet series 10-Jan-2015
Hyderabad,Jan 10 An important notification has been released over the official website of XAT. The officials have announced that candidates who appeared for the test on January 4, 2015 are required to notify the booklet series they received. Invigilators were asked to distribute same booklet series for the main question paper and GK question paper. However, it was noticed that it was not followed at some centers. If any candidate received different series (A,B,C,D) for the main question paper and General Knowledge, then they are required to send a mail to sangeeta@xlri.ac.in, before January 10, 2015. The candidates are also required to mention their CRN, XAT ID, and GK Book Series(A,B,C,D) in the mail. Candidates receiving same series in both the question booklets need not write the mail. Xavier Aptitude Test 2015, a national level examination was conducted by XLRI on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) on January 4, 2015. XAT is conducted for admission to management programmes such as MBA (Masters of Business Administration) and PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) etc. Exam Structure for XAT 2015 was: Quantitative Ability English Language & Logical Reasoning Decision Making GK and Essay Other than appearing for XAT 2015, candidates had to apply separately to member institutes of their choice. Once candidates complete the process of registering for XAT , they were provided with a unique XAT ID and password. The emails to candidates and login on xatonline.net.in (accessed by XAT ID and password) will be the standard mode of communication. The email address mentioned in the registration form will be treated as the primary email address and all communication will be sent to the same. The XAT 2015 Score Card containing the performance of the candidate will be mailed individually to all the candidates
XAT 2015: To be conducted on 4th January 2015 1-Jan-2015
Hyderabad,Jan 1 Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) exam 2015 is to be conducted on 4th January 2015. XAT Exam has strategic importance. It gives an opportunity to the aspirants to perform better and score well in XAT Exam whose score is equally important for admissions in MBA Programmes. Now that CAT Exam has been conducted and results are out, aspirants are in position to find out and judge where they stand. They can accordingly take part in the XAT 2015 examination and judge whether they wish to apply using CAT Score or try their hands on XAT 2015. Main difference between CAT and XAT Exam is that CAT does not have a section on Essay Writing and General Awareness. Though IIMs definitely judge aspirants in those areas in the further selection process. It is important to know that Decision making is different from Logical Reasoning and one should not be confused while attempting these questions.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) Exam 2015 is just a fortnight away. XAT conducting authorities have released the Admit Card. Over 90,000 students have registered for one of the most coveted MBA Entrance Exams. It is sought after by aspirants as importantly as CAT. The number of registrations show the value of the examination as XAT score is considered by many reputed B Schools in India. You will be needing your XAT Registration number and Password to Log in and download the Admit Card. XAT 2015 conducting authorities have not made any delay in issuing the Admit Cards. The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted at the national level by XLRI on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) for admission to management programmes such as MBA (Masters of Business Administration), PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) etc. Candidates must hold a recognised bachelor's degree in any discipline or complete their graduation by June 10, 2015 to register for XAT 2015. XAT 2015 will be held by Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm on January 4, 2015. Mere registration for XAT 2015 and appearing for XAT 2015 is the preliminary step towards applying to any XAT associate institute. Other than appearing for XAT 2015, candidates have to apply separately to member institutes of their choice. Once candidates complete the process of registering for XAT, they will be provided with a unique XAT ID and password. XAT 2015: Registration dates extended 10-Nov-2014
Hyderabad,Nov 10 Candidates applying for Xavier Aptitude Test 2015 (XAT 2015) can now apply till November 30, 2014. The date for registration has been extended from November 22 to Sunday, November 30, 2014, according to the official website. Extension of date for registration doesn't change the last date to change the test city. It will be done on November 26, 2014 only. Registration extended for MBA exam, XAT 2014 26-Nov-2013
,Nov 26 Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) aspirants who have not yet registered for XAT 2014 can relax. The last date for registration to XAT 2014 has been extended to 2 December 2013.

Earlier, the registration was going to end on 22 November 2013. So, the aspirants who are still left to get registered for XAT 2014 now have 10 extra days in hand.

Registration for XAT 2014 started from 12 August 2013 and will remain open, as per the revised schedule, till 02 December 2013.

XAT 2014 is scheduled to be held on 5 January 2014 at different centers in 44 Indian cities along with two international centers.

The Centers for XAT 2014 are Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam.

A national level aptitude test, Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted every year by Xavier School of Management (XLRI). More than 100 B-School, consider XAT score for the admission in MBA courses.
XAT 2014 to be held on 5 January 2014 3-May-2013
New Delhi,May 3 The XLRI Admission Test (XAT 2014) will be conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) on 5 January, 2014, the XLRI admissions office has confirmed to IndiaEducation.

The XLRI Admission Test is a competitive examination conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) India for admission into management programs of XLRI and other well-known business schools of India.

Last year, 108 B-schools in India (16 member institutes and 92 other b-schools) had accepted XAT 2013 scores for their admission process for 2013-14. Some of these schools included Xavier Institute of Management, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Xavier Institute of Social Service among member institutes and VIT Business School, Praxis Business School, MICA, Jindal Global Business School, Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies and IILM Graduate School of Management among other b-schools.

The exam pattern had changed slightly in XAT 2013 with the introduction of a section on General Knowledge/Awareness that tested students in the areas of business, economics and politics related to business environment. The total duration of XAT 2013 had been increased to 3 hours instead of 2.5 hours.

The application process had begun by 20 August 2012 for XAT 2013. Applications for XAT 2014 too are expected to begin around this same time i.e. by August 2013.
