|E-Admit Cards released for Defence Academy Exam
hyderabad,Aug 22 The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the e-admit card for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination (II) 2018. Candidates can down-load it from the official website: upscon-line.nic.in. The exam will be conducted on September 9 for recruitment in Indian Army and Air Force wings of the NDA for the land course.
Candidates who clear the exam will then appear for the SSB interview. A total of 339 posts are available at the NDA, 208 for Army, 39 for Navy and 92 for Air Force. The candidates are advised to download their e-admit cards at the earliest also they would need registrations ID or roll number for downloading the card from the official website.
|UPSC Civils Exam On June 3
hyderabad,May 31 The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2018 has been scheduled for Sunday, June 3, 2018, by the Union Public Service Commission across the country. The Commission had released the e-Admit Cards. However, as per a notification released by the UPSC, only 50 percent candidates have so far downloaded their e-Admit Cards for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2018. Candidates have been asked to download the same in advance to ensure no confusion.
|UPSC released Admit cards for civil services (preliminary) examination 2018
New Delhi,May 9 The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued admit cards for the candidates appearing for civil services (preliminary) examination 2018, which will be held on June 3. The admit cards can be downloaded from Manabadi.co.in and www.upsc.gov.in.
A printout of the admit card must be carried to the exam centre. If the photograph on the card is not clear, the candidates have to carry two passport size photographs for the exam along with their ID proof. Candidates have also been instructed to arrive at the exam centre at least ten minutes before commencement of the exam.

The examination will be held from October 28 and will continue until November 3, 2017. The first paper ‘Essay’ will be conducted on October 28 between 9am and 12 noon. Candidates who have passed the preliminary exam have qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Mains) Examination.
The civil services examination is conducted in two successive stages: 1) Preliminary (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the main examination 2) Civil Services (Main) Examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts announced. Approximately 980 vacancies would be filled through the examination.
|UPSEE 2017 Counselling Schedule Released

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has released the counselling schedule of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE-2017). The first round registration, firsat round registration, payment of registration fee and uploading of document will be held from June 19 to June 24. UPSEE 2017's first round online document verification at centralized verification center will be held from June 20 to June 25. UPSEE 2017 first round choice filling also will be held from June 20 to June 26 June. First round choice locking of various courses will begin on June 20 and will be concluded on June 26.
According an update posted in the UPSEE 2017 official website earlier, this year's counselling process for admissions for engineering all other UPSEE based courses will start soon after the declaration of results of intermediate or class 12 exams of various boards. UP board declared class 10 and class 12 exams results last week. AKTU declared the UPSEE 2017 results on upsee.nic.in on May 29.
|UPSC IAS Mains 2016 result delayed Expected to be out by mid February

The result of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Mains has been further delayed and is expected to be declared somewhere by mid February. All those who had appeared for the exam are required to keep a strict check at the official website. Last year, the results were declared on February 20, 2016.
The exam was conducted from December 3 to December 9, 2016 in two sessions. The morning session examinations were held from 9:30 am to 12 noon while the afternoon session examinations were conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.
On December 7, examinations for language papers, Indian languages (Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo/ Dogri/ Gujarati/ Kashmiri/ Hindi/ Kanada/ Konkani/ Maithili/ Malayalam/ Manipuri/ Nepali/ Marathi/ Oriya/ Punjabi/ Sanskriti/ Santhali/ Sindhi (Devangari/ Arabic script/ Tamil/ Telegu/ Urdu) was conducted in the morning session. |Telangana to pay for 100 Muslims for UPSC mains
To address the under-representation of Muslims in administrative services, the government will select 100 youths to provide coaching in the UPSC mains. The government had previously supported the youths for the prelims.
The government has selected Hyderabad Study Circle, RC Reddy Academies and Brain Tree to coach the youths, who will be selected through a test to be conducted by the Centre for Education Development of Minorities.
The academies were selected by a three-member committee, said Mr Omer Jaleel of the minorities’ welfare department.
Prof. S.A. Shukoor of the Urdu Academy said the government would pay Hyderabad Study Circle Rs 86,000 per student, and Rs 1.25 lakh to the other two.

The registration for CISF AC (EXE) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2017 will be closing in two days, i.e on December 30. All those candidates who are interested in the same and have not applied yet are required to do so at the official website.

The Civil Services mains examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be held at Andhra Loyola College in Vijayawada from December 3 to 9, according to Joint Collector G. Chandrudu. He stated in a press release that steps were taken for providing tight security at the examination centre and pointed out that it is for the first time that the prestigious test is being held in Vijayawada after bifurcation.

Results of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) examination (II) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) have been declared.
Candidates can check the results on the official website.
In order to check the results, they should click on 'written result NDA & NA (II) 2016. They can check their roll numbers on a PDF file which contain names of qualified candidates.
For future reference, candidates should download the document and take a printout.
The press note of UPSC writes the following.
"On the basis of the result of the written part of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2016 held by the Union Public Service Commission on 18th September, 2016, candidates with the under mentioned roll numbers have qualified for interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for Admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 138th Course and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2017."
The website further says - "The candidature of all the candidates whose roll numbers are shown in the list is provisional. In accordance with the conditions of their admission to the examination, “candidates are requested to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of announcement of written result. The successful candidates would then be allotted Selection Centres and dates, of SSB interview which shall be communicated on the registered e-mail ID. Any candidate who has already registered earlier on the site will not be required to do so. In case of any query/login problem, e-mail be forwarded to email@example.com. Candidates are also requested to submit original certificates of Age and Educational Qualification to respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs) during the SSB interview."
"The candidates must not send the Original Certificates to the Union Public Service Commission. |UPSC won't issue paper admit cards for civil services main exam

No paper admit cards will be issued for this year's civil services main examination, scheduled to begin early next month, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has said. The UPSC will be conducting the test at 23 centres from December 3 to 9. The Commission has uploaded the e-admit cards on its website.
"The candidates are advised to download their e-admit cards and take a print-out thereof. The candidates will have to produce the print-out of their e-admit cards at the allotted venue for appearing in the examination.
"In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e-admit cards, candidates are advised to carry identical photograph for each session along with proof of identity such as Aadhaar card, voter identity card, driving licence, passport etc. To the venue of the examination. No paper admit card will be issued for this examination by the Commission," the UPSC said in a public notice.
The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages -- preliminary, main and interview -- to select officers of the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
Candidates have been asked to bring e-admit card print-out in each session to secure admission to examination hall. E-admit card may be preserved till the declaration of written test result, the Commission said.
|UPSC advances next year's civil service prelims exam

The civil services preliminary examination, to select IAS and IPS officers among others, will be held in June instead of August next year.
It is after the gap of three years that Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the examination in June, rather than August.
The civil services preliminary examination, 2017, is scheduled to be held on June 18, as per the Commissions' calender for the examination.
The preliminary tests for 2016, 2015 and 2014 were held during the month of August, a senior UPSC official said.
"The preliminary exam will be held early in June this year. The decision has been taken to ensure that the entire process of the examination is completed in time," he said.
The preliminary exam for 2013 was held on May 26 that year.
The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages, preliminary, main and interview to select officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
Thousands of candidates take the test every year at various centres across the country.

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 100 (except SC/ST candidates) to SBI either by cash or by net banking facility.
Before filling up the application, the candidate must have his photograph and signature duly scanned in the .jpg format in such a manner that each file should not exceed 40 KB. (The photograph should not be less than 3 KB and the signature should not be less than 1 KB).

|UPSC announces results of Indian Forest Service 2015 Mains Examination
Hyedrabad,Jan 4 New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) 2015 Mains Examination on its official website. Candidates can check their results
The examination was held on November 21, 2015. Eligible candidates will now face the personality test, likely to be held in January 2016, tentatively on January 18. Eligible candidates will be intimated about the interview date through E-summon letter. Candidates who clear the interview will be absorbed for the respective 110 posts.
The mark sheet of the exam will be uploaded on the main web portal within next 15 days and will be available on the website for a period of 60 days.
No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test intimated to candidates will be entertained. However, candidates are advised to notify about any change in their address, if any, to the commission immediately.

Hyedrabad,Jan 2 New Delhi: Final results of the UPSC Engineering Services Examination have been released by the Union Public Service Commission.
While the exams were conducted in June this year, the interview and personality test were held in November and December.
Results can be checked on the UPSC's official website - upsc.gov.in.
As per reports, 444 candidates have cleared the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2015.
Of therse, 151 candidates have qualified for Civil Engineering, 99 have qualified for Mechanical Engineering, 86 have qualified for Electrical Engineering and 98 have qualified for Electronics and Telecom Engineering, India Today reported.
A provisional list of 56 recommended candidates has also been released.

Hyderabad,Jan 10 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Exam. The exam is scheduled to take place on April 19, 2015. The applications are invited for the same and shall end on January 23. The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall be allowed to apply.

Stage 1: Written Exam
Stage 2: Intelligence and Personality Test
Stage 1: Written Exam: The written exam will take place in two papers: Mathematics (01) and General Ability (02). Mathematics will consist of algebra, matrices and determinants, trigonometry, analytical geometry of two and three dimensions, different calculus, integral calculus and differential equations, vector algebra and statistics and probability. Whereas, General Ability is bifurcated into two parts: Part A (English) and Part B (GK). The candidates will get a duration of two and a half hour each for both the papers, wherein Mathematics will carry 300 marks and General Ability will carry 600 marks.
The papers will consist of objective type questions only and will be set bilingually, in Hindi as well as English.
Stage 2: Intelligence and Personality Test: The SSB procedure is further divided into two stages i.e. stage I that includes Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception/ Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on combination of performance in OIR test and PP and DT. Stage II, on the other hand, comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests will take place over a period of four days.

The candidates belonging to ii), iii), iv) and v) should produce "Certificate of Eligibility". The eligibility certificate is not required in case of Gorkha subjects of Nepal.
Age Limit: Male Unmarried candidates (born in between July 2, 1996 to July 1, 1999) are eligible
Physical Standards: Applicants should be physically fit and meet some of the measures of NDA.
Candidates should not be having certain ailments like Varicocele, Undersized Chest, Gynaecomastia, Tonsillitis, Overweight/Underweight, Hydrocele/Phimosis, Deviated Nasal Septum, Wax (Ears) and Piles. Applicants need to have a good mental health as well.

|UPSC to conduct NDA and Naval Academy Examination 2015
Hyderabad,Dec 31 Union Public Service Commission has decided to conduct an examination for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 135th course, and for the 97th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 2, 2016.
The examination will be conducted on April 19, 2015. The candidates joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech Course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.

Hyderabad,Nov 27 Union Public Service Commission has released Detailed Application form for the candidates applying for the CISF(AC) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2015 (CISF-LDCE). Eligible candidates can submit the hard copy of the application form to the commission latest by December 26, 2015.
The examination will be conducted for the purpose of filling vacancies of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the vacancy year 2015. The date and the place of examination will be declared by UPSC soon.
How to apply:
-Candidate must apply Online by using the UPSC website.
-Candidate should ensure that all columns of the Online Application Form are filled in correctly. No correspondence will be entertained by the Commission from candidates to change any of the entries made in the application form.

Eligibility Criteria for CISF-LDCE 2015:
-Candidates must have completed Graduation from a recognized University.
-Possession of NCC 'B' or 'C' Certificate will be a desirable qualification. These desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of interview/Personality Test only.
-The candidates should have completed 4 years of regular service as on January 1, 2015 in the rank of Sub. Inspector (GD)/ Inspector (GD) including the period of basic training and should have unblemished record for 04 years till issue of offer of appointment and not having any major punishment in the entire service career.
A candidates must not have attained the age of 35 years on the 01st August, 2015 i.e.he/she must have been born not earlier than 02nd August 1980. However, the upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxable up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Schedule Caste or a Schedule Tribe.
