Over 12,000 engg seats vacant in TS-EAMCET
Hyderabad As many as 12,325 engineering convenor seats remained unfilled after first round web counseling. The candidates who participated in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS-EAMCET) 2018 web counseling for admissions into various courses offered by the engineering colleges in the State have been allotted seats on Friday. Of the total 64,946 engineering seats, 52,621 were allotted in the first phase.
Similarly, 120 out of 2,229 B Pharmacy seats were allotted and in case of Pharma D, 33 seats were allotted out of 150. All the engineering seats in the university colleges have been allotted in the first phase itself while 49,564 seats in 172 private engineering have been allotted of the total intake of 61,889. About 5,274 candidates did not get a seat allotment for not exercising enough number of web options. Students allotted seats have to self-report and make payment through http://tseamcet.nicin on or before June 12.
