The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the NEET Exam Date Notice on December 2024. The NEET exam will be held on May 5, 2024. The NEET is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Age Limit

He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Course. The candidates born on or before 31.12.2005 can apply for the exam.

Nationality

A resident of India, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals are eligible for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges hence they can sit for the NEET examination.

NEET 2023 Selection Process

NEET will only be offered in one stage. The offline exam will include four subjects. Each subject will be divided into two sections. Section A will have 35 questions, and Section B will have 15 questions, of which candidates can choose to attempt any 10 of them. As a result, the total number of questions and time spent will remain unchanged. Candidates who successfully clear the respective medical colleges' cut-offs are eligible to join that college at the discretion of the college authority.
