To enable scholars registered for a PhD at universities or research institutes in India to carry out part of their research under the guid-ance of a German professor
Target Group Scholars registered for their PhD at universities or research insti-tutes in India. M. Phil scholars in the subject area German Studies may also apply
Duration: 2 to 6 months
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Requirements and Conditions
The PhD registration with a university in India should not be older than 3 years at the application deadline (1st October). MPhil candidates of German Studies may also apply for the-se fellowships.
Candidates must be at an advanced stage of the PhD re-search at the time of application.
A detailed research proposal including a precise work schedule are the most important selection criterion besides previous academic achievements.
Candidates must have an acceptance letter from a German professor for the duration of intended stay, to carry out the proposed research under his / her supervision.
German language skills are not mandatory
