Africa Scholarships for Women at University of Dundee in UK, 2017

INTRODUCTION

The University of Dundee is inviting female applicants from Liberia, Nigeria and Ghana to apply for Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa Scholarship. These+ awards will be given to students who are undertaking a one year taught master programme in the academic year 2017-2018. The aim of the scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality. The University of Dundee is a public research university based in the city and Royal burgh of Dundee on the east coast of the central Lowlands of Scotland. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY

Scholarships are available for pursuing a postgraduate programme. Scholarship is awarded in all subjects offered by the university. Criteria for awarding the scholarship is as follows: . The applicant must be a Liberian, Nigerian, Ghanaian country national citizen . The applicant must be permanently resident in Liberia, Nigeria or Ghana at the time of application . The applicant must be female . Applicants will be selected on the basis of their merit and potential evidenced by their personal statement. Nationality: Female applicants from Liberia, Nigeria or Ghana are eligible to apply.

CAREER PROSPECTS

College Admission Requirement Entrance Requirement: The minimum requirement for the majority of taught postgraduate programmes is an undergraduate Honours degree. English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

PAY PACKAGE
