INTRODUCTION
Bangor University is awarding merit scholarships for all international students or all outstanding international students (e.g. 1st class division holders). Scholarships are awarded for undergraduate, masters and research/PhD degree program.
The aim of the scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from any nationality.
Bangor University is a Welsh university in the city of Bangor in the county of Gwynedd in North Wales. It received its Royal Charter in 1885 and was one of the founding member institutions of the former federal University of Wales.
Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate, masters and research/PhD degree program at Bangor University.
Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.
All outstanding international students (e.g. 1st class honours degree holders) will be automatically considerend for an individual scholarship.
Nationality: International students (Non UK/EU students) can apply for these scholarships.

PAY PACKAGE
Undergraduate Scholarships: �£6,000- �£12,000
Postgraduate Taught Scholarships: �£2,500, �£2,500 and �£4,000, �£5,000
Research/PhD Scholarships: �£6,000- �£12,000
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
Important Dates: The application deadline is 15 January 2017 for undergraduate courses or June or July for postgraduate courses or postgraduate research programme.
