500 Elks National Foundation Scholarships for US Citizens, 2017
INTRODUCTION
Elks National Foundation is offering up to 500 scholarships for pursuing undergraduate programme in 2017-2018 academic year. US applicants are eligible to apply for this programme.
2017 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
This Fraternal Order was founded To promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowship.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Scholarships are available for pursuing Undergraduate programme.
Scholarships are awarded in various fields of study offered.
The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:
. Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.
. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.
. College students are not eligible to apply.
. Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
. Male and female students compete separately.
Nationality: US applicants are eligible to apply for this programme.
CAREER PROSPECTS
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.
Test requirements: ACT and/or SAT scores are required. You need to take either the ACT or SAT before November 5, 2016, in order to qualify for the MVS Scholarship.
PAY PACKAGE
Ranging from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.
