Scholarships for International Students at New College of the Humanities in UK, 2017

INTRODUCTION

New College of the Humanities is now accepting applications for entry in September 2017. Scholarships are provided to subsidise undergraduate tuition fees by up to �£2,000 for students from the UK, EU and EEA, and up to �£6,000 for international students. New College of the Humanities is an independent, primarily undergraduate college inLondon, England, UK, founded by the philosopher A.C. Grayling, who became its first Master. It has earned a reputation as a world-class academic institution that is leading the way in UK higher education. If English is not students native language, they will need to demonstrate proficiency in English in order to study at the College. College asks for 7.0 in the IELTS, with a minimum of 6.5 in four components (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing).

COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY

Scholarships are available for pursuing an undergraduate programme. Scholarships are awarded in the field of humanities . As a general guide, most of our students obtain between AAA and AAB at A-level, 38 to 34 points in the IB, or international equivalents. Please note that you must have satisfactory grades in A-level Mathematics, Higher or Standard Level Mathematics in the IB, or an international equivalent in order to study the Economics major. Nationality: UK, EU,EEA and international students can apply for these scholarships.

CAREER PROSPECTS

College Admission Requirement English Language Requirement: If English is not students native language, they will need to demonstrate proficiency in English in order to study at the College. College asks for 7.0 in the IELTS, with a minimum of 6.5 in four components (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing). English language qualifications must have been obtained within two years prior to application to NCH. EU students who have taken higher level English as part of their secondary school examinations, or who have been educated entirely in English for a minimum of five years prior to application, may be exempt from these requirements.

PAY PACKAGE

Scholarships are awarded to subsidise undergraduate tuition fees by up to �£2,000 for students from the UK, EU and EEA, and up to �£6,000 for international students. In addition, applicants from the UK, EU and EEA who are offered to study at NCH - and who would be unable to attend the College without further financial support - can apply to the NCH Trust for a means-tested bursary to cover up to 100 percent of their tuition fees. Scholarship can be taken in the UK Important Dates: The deadline for applying for one of our first-round scholarships for 2017 entry is 15th January 2017 for students from the UK, EU and EEA, and 31st March 2017 for international students.
