INTRODUCTION
Research Fellowship Scheme conducts Goa State AIDS Control Society on contract basis.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
PG Students enrolled for full-time MD/MPhil/PhD degree program in relevant disciplines from any recognised Indian University/Institute. Selection Criteria The selection of the candidates for award of research fellowship will be done after technical evaluation of the research plan by the panel of subject experts.
Age: Below 35 years as on 31st December 2016.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Applications received will be assessed based on the following parameters: Relevance to NACP IV strategies. Innovation. Methodology and study design. Academic achievement of the candidate.
No.of Fellowships: NACO will award up to 20 Fellowships per year for financial assistance.
PAY PACKAGE
The maximum grant for each fellowship will be limited upto Rs 1.5 lakhs. The fellowship covers stipend (for 12 months@Rs 10,000=Rs. 1,20,000) and contingent expenditure on transport/travel, stationery, preparation of report, consumables, printing etc (Rs. 30,000/-). Applicants getting stipend from any Institution/UGC/CSIR/other source are eligible for contingency only.
