Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan recruitment for Merit Scholarship in Delhi

INTRODUCTION

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan was established in 15th October, 1970 as an autonomous organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) for the development and promotion of Sanskrit all over the country. It is fully funded by Government of India. It functions as an apex body for propagation and development of Sanskrit and assists the Ministry of Human Resource Development in formulating and implementing various plans and schemes for the development of Sanskrit studies. It has assumed the role of a nodal body for the effective implementation of various recommendations made by the Sanskrit Commission set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Education in 1956 to consider the propagation and development of Sanskrit language and education in all its aspects.

COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY

11th & 12th classes / Prak Shastri / Uttar- Madhyama and equivalent courses with Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a paper of at least 100 marks Eligibility : Must have passed the previous examination (i.e. 10th class passed for eligible to 11th class and 11th class passed for 12th class) of the respective class with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent in the aggregate and also in the concerned subject i.e. in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit Scholarship Amount : Rs. 300 for 10 months

CAREER PROSPECTS

Shastri / Graduation / B.A./B.A.(Hons.) and equivalent course of three years duration with Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a subject of at least 100 marks. Eligibility : Must have passed Plus 2 level examination with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent in the aggregate and also in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit Scholarship Amount : Rs. 400 for 10 months

PAY PACKAGE

Acharya Degree in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit and its equivalent Post-Graduation Degree Eligibility : Must have passed Graduation (B.A-III) with at least 60% marks in the aggregate in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit Scholarship Amount : Rs. 500 for 10 months Vidyavaridhi / Ph.D. and equivalent in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit Eligibility : Must have passed Acharya or M.A. in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit with at least 60% marks in the aggregate Scholarship Amount : Rs. 1500/ p.m + Rs.2000 per year as contingent for two years Important Dates: Application on the prescribed form should reach to the Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed University 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi - 110058 last by 30.09.2016.
