Anna University conducts Prime Ministers Scholarship in Chennai
INTRODUCTION
Anna University has signed an agreement with 5G Technologies (A member of the Confederation of Indian Industry) - A multinational company head-quartered in TIDEL Park, Chennai - for the development of a new method and software for "the prediction of remnant life of industrial equipment performing under high temperature, high stress conditions".
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who are highly qualified and have first class in M.E / M.Tech Mechanical Eng., with focus on Production Engineering and Design aspects are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate needs to be well-acquainted with finite element analysis and the general aspects of computer programming.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Familiarity with topics in creep, fatigue and corrosion is highly desirable.
PAY PACKAGE
The selected candidate will be paid Rs. 25,000/p.m in the first year and Rs. 28,000/p.m in the second and third year of the award by 5G Technologies.
