INTRODUCTION

University of Edinburgh, UK, invites applications for Chemistry Tercentenary International Masters Scholarships 2016-17 from students starting their Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Medicinal & Biological Chemistry and Materials Chemistry offered in the School of Chemistry for the session 2016-17. Scholarships Details: . Number of scholarships: 3 . Scholarship worth of �£3,000 and will be tenable for one academic year. . Scholarships cannot be held concurrently with fully-funded Scholarships. They can be combined with other partial funding.

COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility: . Students from outside the United Kingdom and European Community . The Scholarships are offered to applicants who are liable for the overseas rate of tuition fees . Students must be starting a full-time M.Sc. program in the School of Chemistry. . Candidates are required to have the equivalent of a first-class honours degree or upper second-class honours degree from a recognized university or institution. . Non-native English Language speakers must meet the University entry requirements of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.

In this email, applicants should give full details of their EUCLID application and state why they would be excellent candidates for the Scholarships in no more than 250 words. Applicants must also indicate how they will fund the difference between the value of the award and the actual annual cost of studying and living at the University of Edinburgh.
