UK/EU Master s Scholarships-2nd May 2016
INTRODUCTION
Description:
Scholarships are available to UK and EU students accepted on a full-time Master s degree programme in any subject offered by the University starting in 2016-2017.
Award:
Each scholarship will have a value of �£10,000. These awards will be tenable for one academic year and will automatically be deducted from your tuition fee with any remaining funds being awarded towards living costs.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility:
The scholarships will be awarded to UK or EU nationals who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master s degree programme of study at the University commencing in the 2016-2017 academic year.
Applicants accepted on a part-time or online distance learning programme are not eligible to apply.
Students who are already on programme are not eligible to apply.
Criteria:
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the international equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level.

Applying:
To apply for a scholarship you must first apply for admission for an eligible programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application
All applications must be submitted no later than 2nd May 2016.
Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication.

PAY PACKAGE
Selection Procedure:
A Selection Committee will meet in May 2016 to select the scholarship holders. All applicants will be notified by mid June 2016.
