Kerala DCE announces Central Sector Scholarship 2014-15
INTRODUCTION
Central Sector Scholarship (Renewal) 2014-15 by Govt of Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education Application are invited by Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE), Thiruvananthapuram for the Central Sector Scholarship (Renewal) 2014-15 from the awarded Students of 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013 -14
Rate of Scholarship per Year
(1) 2010 -11 Awardees (4th renewal): Rs 20,000/(2) 2011-12 Awardees (3rd Renewal): Rs 20,000/ (3) 2012-13 Awardees (2nd Renewal): Rs 10,000(4) 2013-14 Awardees (1st Renewal): Rs 10,000
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility
a) Only those applicants who are awarded Central Sector Scholarship (Fresh /Renewal) during the year 2013-14 Students who are awarded CSS (Fresh) during the Year 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-2013, 2013-14 should have renewed the same during the subsequent years b) The Candidates should have secured 60% marks or equivalent SGPA in aggregate in the annual/semester examinations of the year 2013-14 and should have been promoted to the next class c) Candidates whose result for the academic year 2013-14 has not yet been published may also apply for renewal; their applications can be Verified and Approved by their College authorities only after the declaration of results and filling in the mark /SGPA column by the Institution Their renewal of Scholarship is subject to securing the minimum prescribed mark /SGPA as stated aboved)
CAREER PROSPECTS
The candidates should have at least 75% of attendance for the previous year and should have maintained good discipline during the course of study e) Candidates should have a valid bank account which is linked with Adhaar number How to Apply Application can be submitted only online at the scholarship website of the Department of Collegiate Education www.dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in The Students studying outside Kerala also should submit their application through online Procedure for Online Submission 1) The Renewal button is available under. 1.Central Sector Scholarships (CSS) in the DCE Scholarship Home page www.dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in 2) After clicking the Renewal button, the candidate has to select the following in sequence a) State b) District c) Institution Type d) Name of Institution e) Awarded Year f) Candidates Name 3) The candidate then has to fill in the Date of Birth, Registration ID through which she /he received the Scholarship for the years and click the submit button On the new page, the candidate has to select a) Course Type b) Course c) Year of Study d) Whether the result of your 2013-2014 Examinations is declared or not 4) If the results are declared, the candidate has to fill in the percentage of marks scored; the candidate then has to click on the check box I agree and click the submit button to submit the renewal 5) Take Registration printout and submit it to the Institution with all specified documents
PAY PACKAGE
Documents to be enclosed along with the application printout a) Attested copy of the mark list of publish examination 2013-14 (in the case of candidates whose results are published) b) Copy of Adhaar c) Attested copy of first page of bank pass book in the name of the Student Last Dates Commencement of Online Registration: 10th November 2014 Online submission of Application by Students: 30th November 2014 Submission of registration printout & documents to the institutions by Student: 03rd December 2014 Completion of Verification & Approval by the Institution: 10th December 2014 Receipt of Hard copy in the Scholarship Office at TVPM (in case of self financing colleges in Kerala and outside Kerala): 16th December 2014 (05.00 pm) For details, see the link: www.dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in
