COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Applications are invited for a few fellowships from senior scholars and advanced researchers in humanities, Indian culture, history and philosophy of Indian science, comparative religion, social sciences, foundational science scientific theories, etc., by the India Institute of Advance Study, Shimla, for the stated academic session. Some Fellowships are earmarked for the study for Indian Civilisation.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Themes chosen should :
reflect breadth of perceptions;
have deep human significance;
bear special relevance to national concerns and Indian heritage;
relate to interdisciplinary research; or
enquire into the interface of science, philosophy and society.
The Institute does not support research projects involving laboratory/field works.
