INTRODUCTION
Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) aims at attracting talented youth into undertaking higher education in science intensive programmes, by providing scholarships and mentoring through summer attachment to performing researchers.
Number of scholarships: 10,000
Value of the Scholarship: 80,000 per month
Duration of the Scholarship: For a maximum period of 5 years
Scholarship for: for undertaking Bachelor and Masters level education in Natural and Basic sciences
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility:
. Performance in Board Examinations within the cut-off threshold (of top 1%) for each State or Central Board Examination at Class XII level.
. Performance in any of the specified Competitive Examinations within stipulated cut off ranks.
. Student who passed Class XII Board Examination in 2012 and are in receipt of Eligibility Certificate/ Note issued by the respective Board are also eligible to apply, subject to evaluation as per respective Boards actual cut-off which will be finalized later.
. The eligible candidate must be already enrolled into degree level education in natural / basic sciences in any recognized College or University in India.
