ICICI Fellowship 2012
INTRODUCTION
ICICI invites application from Indian candidates for a 15 month youth leadership programme aimed to create a cadre of socially responsible leaders for India.
ICICI Fellowship 2012 Details:
It will focus on experiential learning and is divided into three parts - induction training of three weeks, placement with an NGO for six months; mid-point training of four weeks, followed by placement with another NGO for six months; and end-point training of three weeks. The idea is to enable fellows to work with NGOs at the grassroots level in villages with rural NGOs and supplement their on-ground experience with lessons in management training and leadership development. Upon completion, fellows will be equipped to take leadership positions across all sectors - private, government and civil society.
No fees are charged from the fellows. Instead, ICICI Foundation will pay a stipend of Rs 12,000 per month. Health insurance cover upto Rs 1 lakh on 24 hour hospitalization is also provided to fellow designates. The ICICI fellow designate is also given the opportunity to undertake an exposure/study visit, anywhere in India for a period of not more than one week financed by the ICICI Foundation upto Rs 10,000 (all inclusive).

Eligibility for ICICI Fellowship 2012:
Graduates in the age group 21 to 28 years can apply for this programme.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Selection procedure for ICICI Fellowship 2012:
The selection will be based on different parameters. The eligible candidates will be called for a psychometric test analysis which will assess them along various parameters. Those shortlisted after these two stages will be invited to attend an assessment day which will consist of various individual and group activities aimed at assess leadership skills, problem solving abilities and working with others in a team. Those who emerge successful at the end of this process are ready to begin their journey as an ICICI Fellow designate.

Last day to apply for fellowship is February 29, 2012
The assessment (aptitude test, GD, Personal interview etc) will be conducted across the country from March to end of May.
