• Passed class 10 from a local government school.
• Passed class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2022-23.
• Enrolled in a full-time graduate program beginning from 2023-24.
• Girls students who wish to persue higher education after grade 12, for degree courses of a minimum of 3 years duration.

The Santoor Scholarship program launched in 2016-17 offers economically disadvantaged young women seeking higher education post class 12, across the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh. We have found that most of the students being supported by the program are first generation learners.

The Scholarship provides INR 24,000 yearly covering tuition, living, and education related expenses for young women.

Through the Scholarship, more than 6000 women, predominantly from aspiring districts have been able to pursue higher education, rising above social and financial pressures, because of the support. This FY 2023-24, Santoor Scholarship is providing support to 1900 students across the states of AP, Telangana, Karnataka, and Chhattisgarh.

The students would be given Rs. 24,000 per annum till they complete their course of study. Students are permitted to utilize the scholarship for tuition fees or other expenses incidental to education.
