INTRODUCTION
The University of Alberta, Canada, is encouraging Postgraduate students to apply for a scholarship.
Scholarship award: $5,000.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibilities:
Should be a Graduate student full time
Citizenship is not limited
Students must have completed their doctoral program for a total of 24 months (2 years) by 31 December 2019 and have completed no more than 6 years. The time spent in the masters program contributes against the time spent in the doctoral program for students who have progressed from a masters to a doctoral programme.
All fields of study are eligible for funding
A recipient may hold the award only once
During the time of the awarding, the applicant must be actively interested in thesis work
However, there is no minimum GPA requirement but selection is based on academic merit secondary
