Debesh Kamal Scholarships for Higher Education Research Abroad
INTRODUCTION
The Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata, will grant Debesh-Kamal Scholarships to eligible candidates for higher education / study abroad. The scholarship would be available to Indian nationals irrespective of caste, ethnicity or religious beliefs.
Scholarship award: Rs. 1.00 lakh for one year only.
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Eligibilities:
Applicants must have a consistently strong academic recored at the Honors of Postgraduate level with first-class grades, relaxed by the Selection Committee.
Ordinarily they would not be over 30 years of age. Exceptions can be made for postgraduate or postdoctoral short-term researchers.
The chosen topics for study / research are the arts and the natural sciences, although applicants may also be considered in other fields, such as social sciences and applied science and technology.
