About Punjab Agricultural University:
The Board of Management (BOM) is the apex body of the university, which makes policy decisions, provides guidance for governance, appoints faculty and staff and controls assets and finances of the university. The Governor of Punjab is the Chancellor and honorary chairman while the Vice Chancellor is the chief executive of the university and serves as chairman of the BOM. There are 13 official and non-official members in the Board of Management.

Educational Qualification:
B.Sc. (Agriculture) / B.Sc. (Horticulture) / B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.Sc. (Medical) / B.Sc. (Hons.) Master’s degree in Entomology / Pathology At least 60% marks at Bachelor’s level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master’s level. Must have passed Matriculation examination of Punjab School Education Board with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

The last date for the receipt of the application duly complete in all respects should reach in this office on 14.01.2019. The complete application unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 18.01.2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of the Director of Research, PAU, Ludhiana and no separate information for an interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
