About CIFA:
The Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (CIFA) is a premier research Institute on freshwater aquaculture in the country under the aegeis of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. The present Institute has had its beginnings in the Pond Culture Division of Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (CIFRI) established at Cuttack, Orissa in 1949 with a view to face challenges in the field of fish culture in ponds, tanks and other small aquatic body.

Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in professional subject like Fishery, Veterinary & Animal Science, Agriculture and allied science. OR M.Tech.in Biotechnology, Computer Science, MCA. OR Master’s Degree in Zoology, Live Science, Biotechnology and Microbiology with NET/GATE qualified. Desirable: One year work experience in Intellectual Property/Computer Software/Database handing.

Date: 19/11/2018, at 10.30am Venue: ICAR-CIFA, Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneswar-751002. Interested candidates should bring their Bio-Data (5 Copies), two passport size photographs and one set of self-attested copies of the entire certificates/Marks Sheets/Experience certificate. The original certificates and proof of age and caste to be produced at the time of interview for verification.
