About HBCSE:
Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) was established in the year 1974. It is located in Mumbai. HBCSE is a National Centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. The goals of the Centre are to promote equity and excellence in science and mathematics education from primary school to undergraduate college level.

Educational Qualification:
(a) H.S.C. with 60% marks. (b) Two year experience in Laboratory. OR (a) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. (b) ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) with two years experience. OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training NCVT) with one year experience Only given Trades of ITI will be considered: Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Maintenance (Chemical Plant), Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance.

To reach the Centre you may come by train to Mankhurd (Harbour Line) or take BEST Bus routes, 21 Ltd. from Dadar (E), 92 Ltd. or 521 Ltd. from Dadar (W), 360 from Kurla or 352 from Sion.
