Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) is an autonomous premier engineering and technology university located in Dharwad. The new Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has started functioning from July, 2016. It is offering B.Tech courses in three core branches namely Electrical, Computer Science and Mechanical.

Educational Qualification:
1.M.Tech./M.E. in allied areas of Electrical & Electronics Engg. Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
2.M.Tech/M.E. in any specialisation in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (in the qualifying degree).
3.B.Sc (Computer Science/Information Science or related stream) /BCA with 3 years experience OR B.Tech (Computer Science Engg/Information Science Engineering or related stream)/MCA with 2 years experience.
4.60% (or 6.0 CPI/CGPA) for both B.Tech. (or equivalent) and M.Tech. (or equivalent) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering (or related stream).
