About Jawaharlal Nehru University:
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was established in the year 1969. It is located in New Delhi. JNU is organised into ten schools, each of which has several centres as well as 4 independent special centres. They are :
School of Arts and Aesthetics, School of Biotechnology, School of Computer and Systems Sciences, School of Environmental Sciences, School of International Studies; School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies; School of Life Sciences, School of Physical Sciences, School of Social Sciences.
Special centres - Center for the Study of Law and Governance, Center for Molecular Medicine, Center for Research and Innovation, Special Center for Sanskrit Studies, Special Center for Nano-sciences.

Educational Qualification:
Prospective candidates should have a minimum qualification of M.A. in Economics or any Social Science with 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates having M.Phil. degree, experience of working with unit level NSSO rounds data and having knowledge of STATA.
