About Kamala Nehru College:
Kamala Nehru College (University of Delhi) was established on 20th July 1964. At that time it was known as ‘Government College for Women’ and was located in Defence Colony. The College offered courses in humanities and commerce stream. Dr.K.K. Gorowara was the founder Principal of the College.
The College is established in memory of Smt. Kamala Nehru. The life of Smt. Kamala Nehru instills the spirit of hard work, determination and a sense of pride in every student who becomes a part of Kamala Nehru College. Educational Qualification:
1. M.Lib.Sc./MLISc. or equivalent with 50% marks. Essential Qualifications:- (OR) Master’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline with 50% mark and B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks. 2. Computer Science paper at Graduate/PG level or six month computer science course from recognized institution.
