About IIT Tirupati:
Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) is an autonomous premier engineering and technology university located in Tirupati. It started functioning from August 5, 2015 in a temporary campus housed at Krishna Theja Educational Institutions in Chadalawada Nagar on the outskirts of the temple city. For the academic year 2015-2016, it will offer B.Tech courses in 4 core branches namely Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with 30 seats in each branch.

Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation with atleast 55% marks of its equivalent grade and a consistently good academic record.
