About Navodaya Vidyalaya Smiti:
Navodaya Vidyalaya Smiti As per the policy of the government, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to be established in each district. Accordingly, Navodaya Vidyalaya have been sanctioned for 576 Districts.In addition to 10 JNVs have been sanctioned in districts having large concentration of ST Population and 10 JNVs in district having large concentration of ST Population and 2 Special JNVs in Manipur bringing total no. of JNVs Sanctioned to 598. Each Vidyalaya Has provision for a full-fledged campus with sufficient building for class rooms.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree/ master’s Degree or Relevant Qualification from recognized university.
For Post Graduate Teachers: Candidates should have passed MA/M.Sc./M.Com with 50% marks or above and B.Ed.
TGT & Female Staff Nurse: Candidates should have passed Bachelor degree in relevant subject with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject during all the years of study and B.Ed.
